Once the world was new
Our bodies felt the morning dew
Once beneath the stars
The universe was ours
Will you be there for me
In the morning?
Will you still care for me
When the morning comes?

A simple bike, still the primary means of transportation for many students, here in Ghent.
Tech info : conversion to selenium toning + some fooling around with the adjustment brush of the new Adobe Lightroom 2 on the bike’s headlight

Just like the previous picture, this one was also taken in the Harbor of Ghent. The sky and light were changing all the time from sunny to cloudy, back to sunny… I guess I shot this one just at the right moment : some clouds in the sky, but still some hard light on the sides of the containers.
Tech info : this one started out with the selenium preset in lightroom, but the only thing I kept was the toning itself, almost all other paramaters were tweaked.

The swing… popular when the weather is nice – abandoned when it rains… Cruel children! This little swing felt very lonely today !
Tech info :
Shot in a park in Ghent, with my 50mm f1.4 lens. Converted to selenium toning with Lightroom with a lot of personal tweaks afterwards and some sharpening in photoshop. No cropping.
