My wife just got back from a trip to Moldova (for work). In her limited free time, she was able to take some pictures with an old digital camera (Minolta DiMAGE F100). As we were watching them, I spotted this photo of two guys playing checkers, a common activity in Eastern Europe.

Technical info : the image was unsharp and overexposed (no, it’s not my wife’s fault, all the other images are fine, but this one was, well, ready for some serious processing ! ;-) ). Processing was done with a combination of Lightroom for everything that was exposure, b&w conversion and channel mixing and Photoshop for some heavy sharpening and to add the vignetting…
