First of all, thanks to the people who already visited my new website, MultiBits, where I will be posting series of images of certain topics. Basically everything that needs more coverage than a single image. At the moment you can find some images of the manifestation ‘I want you for Belgium’, which took place yesterday, here in Brussels… You can find a link in the upright corner of this website.
About this image : it was also shot yesterday and shows one of the men that once fought for our country. Of course, they are not happy at all with the plans of few to split our small, little Belgium.
If you look closely at the reflection in his glasses, you should be able to know where this image was taken… :-)
Tech info : shot with the Canon 300D I bought second-hand as a gift for my wife (she wants to learn shooting with a dSLR too :) ). The thing needed to be tested, so I mounted my Sigma 70-300 on it and took it for a test-drive! The camera scored reasonably good! The only thing that bothered me was its slow start-up time (even after standby). Don’t know how a 350D performs ?
Editing with Canon DPP : b&w conversion, contrast 3, sharpness 5 – that’s it, no photoshop involved :)
